According to the Pew Research Center, Hispanic Americans have grown as a share of the U.S. Latter-day Saint population. In 2007, when Pew fielded its first Religious Landscape Study, about 1 in every 14 U.S. Latter-day Saints identified as Hispanic or Latina/o. In the most recent 2023-24 data, that was closer to 1 in 8, or 12%, of the church’s U.S. population.
